Role Overview

Qualifications

• Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment (DEA)
• Active accreditation with an approved scheme (Elmhurst, Quidos, ECMK)
• Valid Lodgement/Accreditation Member ID

Requirements

• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• Active Public Liability (£1M+) & Professional Indemnity insurance
• Clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Equipment: Laser measure, tablet/iPad, digital camera, telescoping ladder (min 3m) for loft access
• Valid basic DBS check (within last 12 months)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough internal and external property inspections.
• Record dimensions, wall construction type, heating systems, ventilation, and insulation details.
• Input collected data into accredited RdSAP software to generate and lodge EPCs.
• Upload supporting photographic evidence and site notes for audit compliance.
